We all look forward to occasions that give us time to spend time with family and friends and to give thanks for all the blessings they bring to your life. This project will result in the creation of a Life Story video honoring a family member or someone else special to you. The following list of activities will provide you with background and information you need to complete this project.

After reading “The Most Dangerous Game” students will comb through the text to pull out the best examples of imagery from the story. They will work together in groups of three to collect five examples (per person) of imagery. Students must be able to see each other’s examples, so they don’t repeat them, but also help each other identify which imagery is being documented.

Students will explore social issues that plague our society and the world to find an issue they are passionate about or are interested in learning more about.Through a process of questioning, students will develop research questions that they will seek the answers to by conducting research of a variety of sources both in print and digital.Students will create a blog site to share their research findings and write 8 blog posts, each focusing on answering a different question or aspect of their social issue, using evidence from credible sources. Their blogs will be published and shared with an authentic audience.
